JUDICATE WEST PEACEMAKER OF THE YEAR

The Judicate West Foundation Young Peacemaker Award is presented each year to students who exhibit exemplary leadership in peer mediation and/or conflict resolution.

OF THE YEAR

Yatizry Ochoa

Yatizry is an exceptional leader.  She started her Peer Mediation experience in middle school.  She was one of the first students to join the program at her high school.  She is a true believer in restorative practices and she has learned how to apply her skills to her personal life as well.

2020 PEACEMAKER OF THE YEAR

SEIN YUN  Orange County School of the Arts, founded the Peer Mediation Program with the guidance of one of her school’s deans, Dr. Gregory Endelman. 

PORTER WADE  Torrance High School, participated in Wildcat Justice, Madrona Middle School's peer mediation program in his eighth-grade year.

WILL HOADLEY-BRILL founding member of SPHS Mediators, "Upstanders," the peer mediation group at South Pasadena Middle School.
