Grant awards may be up to $3,000 per school
Applicant project and funding needs must be consistent with KMC’s mission and the above-noted current funding cycle focus

Grant Applications are open for submission on May 1, 2023, and due by 11:59 PM PDT on June 30, 2023
Successful applicants will be notified of the award by July 15, 2023
Grant fund distribution will be during the week of September 7, 2023
Grant implementation period is during the 2023-2024 School Year
End-Of-Grant Report Due by June 30, 2024
In 2023, KMC will fund school programs:
To train students in peer mediation. (in-person/virtual)
To increase respect for others through processes of communication and other peer mediation techniques.
To mediate disagreements among students to an agreeable resolution.
To improve student's self-awareness and self-regulation through communication.
To enrich student’s lives through mediation practices as they move toward adulthood.
Provide school grant funds to schools that best meet the goals of KMC.
Provide resources to assist in training students through the KMC online private community dedicated to students, teachers, and administrators.
Appoint a KMC Board member as a consultant to assist with questions and resources.
